Welcome to Maygoli Music Academy! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase and use of our music teaching services, whether online or in-person. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services Offered
Maygoli Music Academy provides music education services, including:
- Online Music Lessons: Live, interactive lessons conducted via video conferencing platforms covering various instruments (e.g., guitar in different styles) and music theory.
- In-Person Music Lessons: One-on-one lessons conducted at our studio, student’s home if applicable, or a mutually agreed upon location.
- Educational Materials: Access to supplementary materials, exercises, and resources through our website or provided during lessons.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
- Age: Our services are available to students of all ages. For students under 18 years of age, parental or guardian consent is required for enrollment and financial responsibility. By enrolling a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and agree to these Terms on their behalf.
- Technical Requirements (Online Lessons): For online lessons, students are responsible for ensuring they have reliable internet access, a suitable device (computer, tablet), a functioning webcam, microphone, and the necessary software (Zoom, Skype and/or other possible platforms that are used in other countries by online students). We are not responsible for technical issues arising from the student’s equipment or internet connection.
- Enrollment: To enroll in lessons, you must complete the registration process on our website or directly with [Your Name/Business Name]. All information provided during enrollment must be accurate and complete.
3. Payment and Fees
- Lesson Fees: All lesson fees are clearly stated on our website or communicated directly upon inquiry. Fees are subject to change, but any changes will not affect pre-paid lessons or existing bookings.
- Payment Methods: We accept payment methods such as: Wise, bank transfer, and PayPal.
- Payment Schedule:
- Late Payments: There will be NO classes for the students who have NOT paid fully their tuition fees.
- Refunds:
- Individual Lessons: No refunds will be issued for individual lessons once payment has been made, unless the lesson is cancelled by Maygoli Music Academy.
- Lesson Packages: (Package 1 = monthly, could be 4 to 5 lessons per month, it depends on the month. e.g. some months have 5 Mondays instead of 4 Mondays), (Package 2 = 10 lessons) Refunds for unused lessons in a package may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administrative fee or calculation based on the full-price individual lesson rate for lessons already taken. No refunds will be given for lessons already consumed.
- Non-Refundable: Payments for lessons already taken, any class cancellations, downloadable materials, and workshops.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- Student Cancellations/Rescheduling:
- Notice Period: Students must provide at least 48-hour notice to reschedule a lesson.
- Late Cancellation/No-Show: If a student cancels with less than the required notice, or fails to attend a scheduled lesson (no-show), the lesson will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued.
- Emergencies: We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible in such situations. Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made at our sole discretion.
- Instructor Cancellations/Rescheduling:
- In the rare event that Maygoli Music Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, we will provide as much notice as possible.
- Students will be offered a full refund for the cancelled lesson or the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
5. Lesson Conduct and Expectations
- Punctuality: Students are expected to be ready and punctual for their scheduled lessons. Lessons will start and end at the agreed-upon time. Time lost due to student lateness will not be made up.
- Preparedness: Students should come to lessons prepared with their instrument (if applicable), any assigned materials, and a positive attitude.
- Respectful Environment: We are committed to providing a respectful, positive, and safe learning environment. Any form of disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior towards the instructor or other students (if applicable in group settings) will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
- Parental Supervision (Online Lessons for Minors): For online lessons with minors, it is highly recommended that a parent or guardian is present in the vicinity of the student during the lesson, especially for younger children.
- Communication: Effective communication is key. Please communicate any difficulties, goals, or feedback promptly to your instructor.
6. Intellectual Property
- Our Materials: All lesson plans, sheet music, exercises, recordings (if provided), website content, and any other educational materials provided by Maygoli Music Academy are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright laws.
- Permitted Use: These materials are provided solely for your personal educational use in conjunction with our services. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of our materials without our express written permission.
- Student Content: Any original music or creative works developed by the student during lessons remain the intellectual property of the student. However, by participating in lessons, you grant Maygoli Music Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use anonymous examples of student work for educational or promotional purposes, solely for demonstrating teaching methods or student progress, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantees: While we strive to provide high-quality instruction and support, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes from our lessons. Learning an instrument and music theory requires consistent effort and practice from the student.
- Assumption of Risk (In-Person Lessons): For in-person lessons, students acknowledge and assume any inherent risks associated with attending lessons at the designated location (e.g., travel, use of equipment).
- Exclusion of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maygoli Music Academy, its instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the liability.
8. Privacy Policy

- Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in City of Valencia, Province of Valencia in Spain.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the services.
