For over 30 years, I have lived and breathed the guitar, both on stages around the world and in the quiet focus of the practice room. That lifelong passion, sparked by my first chord, evolved into a profound joy: helping others discover their own musical voice. For me, the guitar is more than just an instrument; it’s a language, a companion, and a source of endless joy and expression. Sharing that connection with my students is truly what motivates me.
My teaching journey has taken me around the globe, sharing the magic of the guitar with students in Canada, the USA, Spain, Japan, Korea, Germany, Mexico, Turkey, the Philippines, Iran, Malaysia, Portugal, and Poland. This diverse experience has enriched my understanding of teaching, allowing me to connect with and inspire students from all walks of life. Whether you prefer one-on-one sessions in my studio or convenient online lessons from anywhere in the world, I’m here to accommodate your learning style.
Beyond teaching, I’ve dedicated my career to the art of performance and scholarship. I’ve authored numerous books on Flamenco, Classical, and Pop guitar, providing accessible methods and in-depth insights for all levels. My own musical journey includes performing in countless shows, concerts, and festivals globally, earning numerous awards for my contributions. I’ve also released multiple guitar CDs, offering unique interpretations and original compositions that showcase my diverse musicality. My compositions have been featured in short films that premiered at celebrated prestigious Film Festivals, such as: Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF).
